For the past 60 years, Strathmoor Preschool Education Center has ministered to the education of the children in this area. It is a Christian preschool that welcomes children and families regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, creed, or religious affiliation.

The purposes of SPEC are to provide

• safe and nurturing care
• develop mentally appropriate education
• teaching methods that include visual, verbal, kinesthetic, and tactile
• biblical education for spiritual nurture and growth
• affirmative guidance encouraging the growth of each child

We have classes for children ages 2-5

• Nursery Class: 2 years old by August 1, 2014
• Preschool Class: 3 years old by November 1, 2014
• Pre-kindergarten Class: 4 years old by November 1, 2014
• Transitional Kindergarten: 5 years old by December 31, 2013

Classes are held every Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. To 12:00 noon. There is also extended care times before and after classes: 7:30-8:45 a.m. and 12:15-5:30 p.m.
